Sales Engineer / Manager

Drive global sales of our product portfolio by combining technical expertise with commercial acumen. You will identify market opportunities, build relationships with OEMs, EPCs, and end users, and support clients—guiding them from initial inquiry to closure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute international sales strategies targeting key regions and segments (OEMs, EPCs, operators).
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations for Wireline, Coiled Tubing, Pressure Control and Downhole Tools.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop customized solutions and proposals.
  • Manage key accounts, including contract negotiations, pricing, and forecast tracking.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to refine sales tactics.
  • Represent PROBUS at industry events, trade shows, and customer sites.
  • Maintain CRM updates, sales reports, and pipeline analysis to meet growth targets.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Business or related field.
  • 5+ years experience in technical sales within Oil & Gas, hydro-mechanics or machinery sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in international B2B sales and account management.
  • Strong technical aptitude to explain complex systems and data acquisition tools.
  • Excellent communication and advanced negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools; fluent in English (German and other languages a plus).
  • High travel readiness and willingness to engage globally.
